Snoqualmie Elementary is having its fitness week and one of the activities on display was lacrosse. Woodroe Kiser and Dennis Simmons brought Snoqualmie Youth Lacrosse to many kindergarten through fifth grade students at Snoqualmie Elementary on Tuesday October 6th. The students learned about how to pass, scoop, cradle and shoot.

By the time the season comes around in the Spring of 2010 my goal is to have teams competing at 5th/6th grade, 7th/8th grade and high school for both boys and girls.
Currently we are having all-comers practices every Wednesday this summer from 5pm to 6:30pm at Snoqualmie Middle School. I am planning to have up to four clinics this fall and from there to get teams registered in the winter for our spring season. Lacrosse is an exciting sport and I am looking forward to building this program in our valley.
