			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Snoqualmie Valley Youth Lacrosse is partnering with Issaquah Youth Lacrosse for the upcoming Spring 2010 Lacrosse season. Snoqualmie Valley Youth Lacrosse Teams will be created for each age group (2-4 grades, 5-6 grades, 7-8 grades). Practice and home games will be in Snoqualmie Valley.</p>
<p>Registration will be run through the Issaquah Youth Lacrosse website (players’ address and school is required and will be used to place player a on Snoqualmie Valley team). Regular season is in the Spring (mid-February through May). The $30 late fee will be refunded for all those still registering for Snoqualmie Valley.<br />

<p>When &#038; Where? Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009 7:00 &#8211; 9:00 PM &#8211; Skyline Community Fields<br />
This is “ready to go” time &#8211; please arrive 20 mins before to sign in and be ready.</p>
<p>Who? **1st – 8th grade boys, New AND Returning players. ** we are inviting all boys.<br />
No experience necessary. New Parents &#8211; There will also be a short parent<br />
informational meeting. (girls and younger players will have different events)</p>
<p>How Much? Free clinic – no registration is required.</p>
<p>Why? A great introduction to Lacrosse, opportunity to learn the fundamentals and<br />
improve your skills with the coaching staffs from Issaquah, Skyline &#038; Liberty High<br />
Schools and IYL’s most experienced.</p>
<p>What to Bring? New Players: NO equipment necessary, if you have a stick, bring it. Wear athletic attire (cleats or tennis shoes), dress for the weather and bring water; a hat &#038;<br />
lightweight gloves are recommended. And bring a friend.</p>
<p>Returning Players: all your gear – you know what that means, we hope! Bring a<br />
friend &#8211; friends make the best teammates.</p>

More information will be coming soon on how to sign up and be part of this exciting lacrosse season.  In the meantime we ask that you register here on the website so we can provide you with updated information.  </p>
<p>Mt. Si will have a team competing at the high school level this year also.  The Washington High School Boys Lacrosse Association has approved us to field a team this spring.  Any interested players or parents should <a href="mailto: coach@snovalleylacrosse.com">contact me by email. </a> </p>

Highlight of practice was Sal blowing up Will on a great cross-check during a ground ball drill.  It was awesome!  See you all next Wednesday June 10th at 5pm!!!!

<p>The Snoqualmie Valley Youth Lacrosse Clinic is an instructional program, aimed at introducing boys to the exciting and fun game of lacrosse. As an instructional program the emphasis is on learning stick skills, game fundamentals, and what it means to be part of a team.</p>
<p>First year starter program for future SV youth lacrosse teams.</p>
<p>Instructor: Dennis Simmons – Over 25 years of lacrosse experience as player and coach.<br />
Grades: 1st-5th<br />
Day: Wednesdays<br />
Dates: May 20th-June 24th<br />
Time: 6:00-7:00pm<br />
Fee: $25 – Full Equipment required including Stick, Helmet, Gloves, Arm Pads, Shoulder Pads, and Mouth Guard. Equipment packages for approximately $200 will be discussed at parent meeting.<br />
